Program

The first of two certificate courses in the School of Mortgage Banking, this nine-week course is held one afternoon a week, featuring discussions and lectures by experienced professionals in the residential mortgage lending field.

Location & Directions

Classes will be held at St. Michael's College, Colchester in the Tarrant Student Recreation Center "Hall of Fame" room. Parking is available in the front of the building.

Bear right off exit 15, I-89. At first set of lights turn left into campus, bear left toward the Ross Sports Center.  Parking is available in front of the building.  Enter through the sports center's doors, the "Hall of Fame" room is immediately on your left.  See the Campus Map.

Student Evaluation

"An Introduction to Residential Mortgage Lending" is graded pass/fail. Your grade consists of prompt attendance, class participation, and a final take-home exam. A certificate of completion will be provided to all graduates.

Refund Policy

Refund of 50% after the first class; no refund thereafter. Cancellation for single class registrations must be received 72 hours prior to the event to receive a refund. Pre-registered no-shows will be billed.

Tuition and Registration

Students may register for the entire nine-week course or for individual classes. Attendance is limited to 35 people and is on a first-come/first served basis with priority given to students who enroll in the entire nine-week course. Registration deadline for the complete course is Wednesday, October 5 and for the individual classes, the Friday before the class.
