Guy Andrews Charles M. “Guy” Andrews is a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser in Vermont. Guy has been an appraiser since 1996 and is currently the owner and principle appraiser at CMA Appraisals, Inc operating out of Montpelier VT., and servicing Chittenden, Washington and Lamoille counties. Guy is the Vice President and Education Chairman for the Vermont Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, and a member of the Board of Directors for the VMBA, and also has a Realtor® designation. Born and raised in Vermont, Guy makes his home in East Montpelier, with his wife and two daughters. Brendan Browne Brendan Browne has been an underwriter with MGIC for over twenty years. Brendan has also been a featured speaker for several regional trade groups and has taught at many educational seminars. He has been involved with housing initiatives including Neighborhood Housing Services of America and has been recognized by the City of Boston for his contributions to affordable housing in Boston. GREG W. HAHR Greg began his mortgage career in 1989 at Vermont Federal Bank. In 1992 he took over as the Head of Secondary Mortgage Marketing where he developed the pricing, hedging and valuation policies and methods for the bank. In 1998 Greg joined Namex, Inc.; a New England based whole loan and servicing broker. As their Vice President he was responsible for working with banks to identify, value, buy and sell portfolios of loan assets amongst banks. From 2001 through 2003 Greg was responsible for creating and managing the lending division for a national mortgage company here in Vermont. LibertyQuest Financial is now licensed and operating in 15 states as a mortgage lender. Greg is a board member for the VMBA, and has worked on town and district school boards as well as on the zoning board. He lives in Starksboro with his wife and three daughters. Allen King Allen King is the senior account manager for MGIC responsible for the Vermont, Western Massachusetts and Western New Hampshire. He has been with MGIC for 26 years. He started his mortgage lending career in 1972 at Old Stone Bank in Rhode Island after departing from the Army. Allen was on the board of the Vermont Mortgage Bankers where he received the 2003 Member of the Year Award. He is also on the education committee of the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers where he received the 1998 Membership Recognition Award and the 2004 Distinguished Service Award. He is also participates in the Vermont Housing Awareness Campaign. Allen has been involved in developing and presenting the Self Employed Borrower Program and the Mortgage Processing Program that are being used nationally by MGIC. He received a BS in Management from Northeastern University in 1968 and a MBA in Finance from Bryant College in 1975. Jim Knapp Jim Knapp is the State Counsel for Stewart Title Guaranty Company. He provides underwriting for title insurance policies, advises agents and others on real estate property questions, and handles claims filed in Vermont. Prior to joining Stewart Title last year, Mr. Knapp was in private practice with the Burlington law firm of Gravel and Shea for 20 years. During that time he concentrated his practice on real estate transactions and developments. Mr. Knapp is a member of the adjunct faculty of Champlain College where he teaches Advances Real Property law class for the paralegal program. Mr. Knapp has spoken at many seminars on real estate, mortgage lending, title insurance, and technology topics for a number of organizations. SARAH LAUFERSWEILER Marketing Representative CBCInnovis and CBCS (Formerly known as the Credit Bureau of ME, NH, and VT). Sarah has worked for CBC for the past 2 years, and works with both the collection and credit departments. She covers all of NH and VT for collections and the West coast of NH and parts of VT for any Credit and Real Estate related sales and presentations. Previous to her employment at CBCInnovis she was a full time student at Saint Anselm College. ED LEVITE Ed Levite is one of the owners of LibertyQuest Mortgage in Williston, VT. He has over 20 years experience in Sales and marketing working for a number of large worldwide organizations. Customer service and product knowledge have led to his success. He has been in the mortgage business for 5 years specifically focused on loan origination. His prior experience to origination was to show up at a closing and just sign forms and not ask questions about the process. He loves what he does and feels that it is an honor to be selected to help his clients with their most important financial decision they may ever make --- getting a mortgage. Lauri Lydecker Lauri Lydecker is Assistant VP, Sr. Compliance Officer for Chittenden Corp. Lauri recently completed her MBA degree and has over nineteen years of experience in the banking industry, including two years with the Federal reserve Bank of San Francisco. Her current role is to assist in the implementation of the organization's compliance program and to guide and direct staff through the Corporation in the performance of their regulatory responsibilities. Lauri has considerable experience in sharing her knowledge of the regulatory landscape, having developed and conducted numerous training seminars in mortgage and lending regulatory compliance. Harland L. Miller, III Hal Miller graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in Hampden-Sydney, Virginia in 1978 and received his law degree from The University of Richmond’s T.C. Williams School of Law in 1983. He practiced law in Bellows Falls, Vermont with the law firm of Kissell & Massucco from 1983 through 1990. In 1991 he became Vermont State Counsel for First American Title Insurance Company, where he handled all underwriting of residential and commercial real estate transactions and managed all title insurance claims for the company in the State of Vermont. In 1999 he was also made Vermont State Manager for First American and continued as Vermont State Counsel until 2001. Mr. Miller joined the firm of Little, Cicchetti & Conrad, P.C. in October 2001, where his law practice concentrated on commercial real estate transactions. He rejoined First American Title Insurance Company in January 2003 and currently holds the positions of Vice-President, Vermont State Counsel and Associate Regional Claims Counsel. Marilyn Morin Marilyn is a Loan Originator and National Trainer for Universal Mortgage Corp. She has been in the mortgage industry for 16 years. During that time, she has held positions of branch and regional manager and has taught FHA/VA lending for mortgage banking associations throughout New England, Pennsylvania and the Carolinas. BEN NILES Ben Niles joined Freddie Mac in 1989 as an Account Manager, marketing Freddie Mac's products, programs, technology, and services in CT, ME, NH and VT. His responsibilities include contract negotiations, new product and program introduction, technology rollouts to customers, addressing training needs, managing customer relationships, and liaison with industry trade associations. Previously Ben was employed by MGIC for 16 years in the positions of Underwriter, Regional Underwriting Manager, and as a Sr. Account Executive. He resides in Merrimack, NH with his family. Gordon Raymond Gordon Raymond is Vice President and Director of Compliance for Chittenden Corporation based in Burlington, Vermont where he has served since 1997. Chittenden Corporation comprises 6 banks located in four New England states which have combined assets of $6.2 billion. Prior to that he served for 8 years as Director of Corporate Compliance for First NH Banks, Inc., including First NH Mortgage Corporation, all based in Manchester, NH. Gordon began his banking career at Bank of Boston (now Fleet/Boston) in 1968, and has been involved in regulatory compliance for the past 28 years. LARRY ROACHE Larry Roache is the Northeast Regional Manager for Continuity Programs Inc. and covers all of New England and the state of New York. Larry has been with Continuity Programs for six years and is a member of the CT., ME, NY, and MA Mortgage Bankers Assoc. He also is an active member of the Education Committee and the Legislative Affairs committee for the Mass. Mortgage Bankers Association. Continuity Programs Inc., based in Wall Lake, MI is the largest referral and retention company in the United States that specializes in the mortgage and real estate industry. Larry's seminars are to the point with a common sense approach in building referrals and keeping clients in the customer for life mode. Brandi Russin Brandi Russin has been in the Finance/ Banking field for 7 years. Brandi is currently working as the Homeownership Outreach Coordinator providing training and promoting VHFA throughout Vermont to lenders, non-profit housing organizations and real estate professionals. She is an instructor for the Vermont Mortgage Bankers Association and is a State Approved Instructor for VHFA Financing Options. Brandi serves on the Ambassador Committee and the Better Homes Award Committee for the Homebuilders and Remodelers of Northern Vermont. She is on the Social and Educational Committees for the VMBA. MARK A. SEVERANCE Mark A. Severance is President and owner of Summit Financial Center, an independent mortgage company in Burlington since 1989. Mark has been in banking since 1975, spent the better part of 8 years with the Chittenden Bank, and also spent 3 years in the Savings and Loan industry in San Francisco, as well as 3 years working for a spin-off of Irving Trust Company. Mark graduated from UVM in 1977 with a degree in finance. He has served as President of the Vermont Mortgage Bankers Association, President and Treasurer of the Burlington Community Land Trust, President and Treasurer of the Burlington Country Club, and has taught numerous courses for the American Institute of Banking. Kellie Stoll Kellie Stoll is currently employed as Mortgage Sales Coordinator for Chittenden Bank. She recently returned to Chittenden after spending several years as an underwriter for Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corporation (MGIC) in Burlington, VT. In her prior 10 years at Chittenden, Kellie was a Processing & Closing Supervisor and also had experience in underwriting and quality control. FRANK TRAFICANTE Frank Traficante, Regional Underwriting Manager for MGIC's Boston Underwriting Service Center, serving lenders in New York and the six New England states, has been with MGIC for 24 years. He worked as a senior underwriter for seven years in MGIC's Tampa Underwriting Service Center, a risk analyst in MGIC Atlanta for three years and as MGIC Regional Underwriting Manager in Braintree for ten years. Frank is fully responsible for all contract and mortgage insurance underwriting for the 6 New England states. PAULA VANDENBERGHE A New England native residing in Bedford, NH, Paula attended Plymouth State University. She started in the banking industry in New Hampshire and New York as a retail direct and indirect loan officer. Paula has also been employed as a loan originator in New York and New Hampshire for 14 years. While originating for Key Bank in New Hampshire, Paula was awarded to the Presidents Club for volume in originations. Paula joined United Guaranty in 2001 as an Account Executive covering Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. She has successfully completed UGIC teacher training courses in sales and product development. LINDA WHITE Linda White is an Account Manager for G.E. Mortgage Insurance Co. Part of Genworth Financial. Her background includes 17 years in mortgage banking and mortgage insurance, in which she was a Branch Manager/Senior Underwriter for G.E. Mortgage Insurance for 7 years. |
